Referee Mentoring and Incentive Program
The Squamish United Football Club (Squamish United) empathizes with the intricate challenges and obstacles that young players face on their journey as referees. We firmly believe that the key to their success lies in a robust training and mentorship initiative designed to guide, coach, and acclimate these budding referees.
It is with great enthusiasm that Squamish United introduces the Squamish United Referee Mentoring & Incentive Program. This groundbreaking program empowers young referees to advance toward their goals at their own rhythm, all the while benefiting from unwavering support devoid of any undue pressure. The Squamish United Referee Mentoring program ensures that seasoned mentors are on hand to assist novice referees as they hone their skills as both Assistant Referees (ARs) and Center Referees (CRs) in our House and Select Programs. We believe that this program will best set up students for success should they wish to further challange themselves with adult division matches. This student-centered approach is tailored to each participant, a strategy we are confident will pave the way for heightened success and an overall positive and enriching experience.
